Update on capital campaigns

Finishing Up:

• Simpson College has concluded a campaign, raising $30.6 million. The original goal was $25 million.
• University of Houston system raised $1.2 billion in an eight-year campaign. The original goal was $1 billion.
• University of Saint Joseph, in Connecticut, has raised $43.7 million in a campaign that originally had a $38 million goal. Student success efforts were a major priority.
• Virginia Commonwealth University finished a campaign it started in 2016, raising $841 million. The original goal was $750 million. The campaign raised money for 394 endowed scholarships and 138 new endowed chairs.
